Image Opacity controls how transparent an image appears. It is useful for overlays, watermarks, background treatments, and layered design compositions.
Opacity is most useful in layered layouts where an image should support rather than dominate text or another foreground element. A partially transparent image can make backgrounds and watermarks less visually heavy.
